Shattered (Sold)

Distant Serenity (Sold)

It was a small piece but I really enjoyed it. It was multiple levels as well but with no separation between them. It made for a deceptively heavy piece but the sense of depth was still there. It was also my least abstract piece.

Music Among the Branches (Sold)

This was my second multi-level piece and the biggest one I have done so far. It was 3 feet tall and heavy with the multiple levels of metal. I sold it during the 2010 Armadillo Christmas Bazaar.

Palindrome (sold) and Veil of Mist (sold)

These are my two smallest wall pieces. The one on the left is Palindrome. The other is Veil of Mist. It was my first multi level wall piece. I find the effect very neat and will be making more in the future.

27% (Sold)

As a baby I was burned by hot grease. The left side of my chest is a large scar and I was told I would never use my left hand again. I was burned over 27% of my body. I made this piece about this incident. I reticulated the copper which causes it to have ripples and waves like my scars...

Queimadura $1500

One of my first 3D pieces. Queimadura means burn in Portuguese. I named it that because it looked like fire to me and I am part Portuguese. It helps me to remember my grandfather.

Gloaming (Sold)

The time between sunset and dark.

My first piece

But not really. I have grown up with art my whole life and have been making little things since I could hold a torch. But this is my first piece in my first step in to the art world as an adult. I was inspired by Escher. The way things changed from one thing to another. Birds to land and fish and wanted to see if I could do sort of that in metal. As it stands it looks like the last few pieces of a puzzle being put together. Guess that is a good analogy for the budding artist though...

I kept this piece and it is currently hanging in my kitchen...

Before Coloring

I made this one a while back and sold it before a I even got a good picture of it. It was awesome to sell it but I still wish I could have had a good pic or even name it...

The Gateway (Sold)

Still trying to figure this out... More to come. This piece was my first sell. I really think it is a beautiful piece and hope it found a happy home.
